Optional Seating Configurations

A must have product for any Citation I operator!  This kit is designed to take advantage of the unutilized space between the right hand lounge seat and the seat behind it which faces aft (primarily in the 500/501 models).  It can be installed when the passenger load requires an additional seat, and easily removed if the operator wishes to return the cabin to original configuration.

The Lounge Seat Extension includes a seat belt, machined track feet, installation instructions, etc., and the necessary parts and conversion procedures to convert the barrel seat to sidefacing.  Extension is delivered in “bare” condition, without upholstery, and frame is chrome.  Seat bottom is fabricated from a high-density, durable fabric to facilitate comfort and flexibility.

APPROVAL TYPE: Federal Aviation Administration Parts Manufacture Approval (eliminating need for field approval) and Supplemental Type Certificate.

APPLICABLE AIRCRAFT: Cessna Citation 500, 501, 550,  551, & S550.

INSTALLATION: Minor seat track modification is required', which includes moving the seat belt on the original lounge seat (I hour), and installing the extension on factory installed seat track (6 to 8 hours). Complete installation instructions, diagrams, and weight and balance data are included).

LEAD TIME: Typically, we keep this kit in stock. However, fluctuations in demand may cause up to a 30 day delivery delay.
