APPROVAL TYPE:   Federal Aviation Administration Parts Manufacturing Approval and Supplemental Type Certificate  (eliminating the need for field approval).

APPLICABLE AIRCRAFT:  CESSNA CITATION 500, 501, 550, AND 551.

DESCRIPTION:  The AvFab  Seat Repair Kit was designed to provide an FAA Approved repair to Citation I and II series passenger seats that actually upgrades the seat structure to “stronger than new”.  Many of the original seat frames are cracked and even broken, and this STC approved repair substantially saves time and money when compared to ordering a replacement base or seat from the factory.  The repair is done at the AvFab facility, and great care is taken to preserve the chair foam and covering so they can be reinstalled after the repairs have been accomplished, if necessary.

LEAD-TIME:  Normal lead time required to make repairs to one seat is 3 to 5 days.  However, fluctuations in demand can cause up to a 14 day lead time.  Please contact us for an accurate estimate.
