AvFabulous Interior Upgrade PackageAvFabulous / Cabin Upgrades
Our new “AvFabulous” King Air 90 demonstrator aircraft travels around the U.S. allowing King Air operators to see first-hand what our interior mods can do for their legacy King Air. On April 21, 22 we were at the King Air Gathering in Las Vegas on Static Display.\r\nThe package items can be purchased separately or are discounted when purchased together.\r\n\r\nThe Arm Ledge Table System was designed to update the Tables, side panels, arm ledges, and window line panel to the same look found in the new production King Air 250. We developed the kit a few years ago in part to update the aircraft interior dramatically, but also to eliminate the never-ending problem of repairing the old recessed tables. It quickly became the backbone of our AvFabulous program, and is our most popular King Air interior upgrade product. The investment not only updates the airplane to new status and eliminates the OEM table issues, but brokers are telling us that they’re covering their investment with added value to the aircraft. It’s a win-win mod. Allow 70-80 hours for installation.\r\n \r\nThe Pleated Window Shades have also proven to be extremely popular. Our objective was to provide a better, longer lasting and more attractive alternative to the polarizers. We also wanted to provide an installation that picked up the vacated polarizer mounting points in order to keep things as quick and simple as possible. One great benefit is the value of keeping the shades closed to block the sun while the airplane is parked on the ramp. The cabin is much cooler on hot days, the interior is protected from the sun, and the crew no longer has to remember to adjust the polarizers to the transparent position to keep from burning them out. A related benefit is the weight loss of right at 15 pounds per aircraft when replacing the polarizers with AvFab Pleated Shades. They’re available in three colors – tan, gray, and olivine. Samples are available.\r\n\r\nClear-view Headrests \r\nThe most economical way to quickly improve and update the cabin is our Clearview Headrest. We have two designs; a hidden headrest, and a winged headrest. The results are obvious…modernizing the cabin by removing the bulky OEM headrests, and opening up the floorplan to provide a more spacious feel. There is no modification required to make the installation other than sculpting the foam to accommodate the new headrest. There is no weight change when making this conversion.\r\n\r\nLateral Tracking Seat Bases\r\nThe benefit of sliding toward the aisle to increase head and shoulder room over 3.5" inches. Our LTSB mod involves removing the OEM seat base (4 bolts), and replacing it with the new laterally tracking base. Other than painting the base to match, there’s nothing else to it. A simple, but effective mod that improves passenger comfort considerably. Operators should be prepared for a weight increase of around 8 pounds per seat. This mod can be completed on any or all cabin seats.\r\nAft Jump Seat\r\nKing Air 90 Series kit comes complete and includes seats, occupant restraint system, attachment feet, oxygen lines, installation instructions, and is delivered in “green” condition, without upholstery.
